I recently had the opportunity to stay at the San Ramon Marriott for a corporate retreat, and I’m here to share my thoughts as a business traveler from New Zealand. First off, I loved the location. It offers easy access to various meeting spaces, with over 16,500 square feet dedicated to conferences and intimate meetings. This layout made it convenient for our sessions while accommodating casual catch-ups in quieter corners of the venue. We were well-supported by the business center, which was a practical resource for printing and last-minute tasks. The lobby offered complimentary newspapers that kept us in the loop, a nice touch for road warriors. Now, I did face some challenges. On check-in, the A/C was out, which was quite uncomfortable while we prepared for our evening function. Thankfully, it was back on later that night. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast was particularly good—smooth butter on warm bread accompanied by strong coffee and delicious hot chocolate kept my mornings energized. Despite a few hiccups, the San Ramon Marriott presents a solid option for business travelers seeking functionality and convenience during their trips.
